There’s a Pho restaurant called Pho 99 right beside the Denny’s near the Lion’s Gate Bridge. It’s a dirty looking place, and when you go in, the decor is all leftovers from its days as a Trader Vics; tiki carvings and 70’s-style termite-eaten woodgrain.
The menu items are pretty much all the same price but each item has one ingredient more than the one before. (Following this logic, the best deal should be the last one listed, but I never choose that one)
It is absolutely delicious and an incredible deal. It’s hearty and yummy and fragrant.
Sunyoung swears she wants to come here in February after she gives birth. It’s so much more nutritious and delicious than fast food at the same price. And as you can see from the picture, even Little Miss Picky Girl loves it too.
